The latest in Bernard Cornwells Uhtred series.

I was not sure at first as it seemed to lose its way. His polemic against the church continues with renewed vigour (not that, that upsets me, just it does take quite a big part of the book).

I will not give anything elseaway other than it builds to a vintage Uhtred performance and is throughly reccomended!
