Hahaha ........... Happy Traitor's Day indeed!

It's so hot and humid here and my foster puppy is still recouping from her spay surgery so I'm keeping it low key and working on in-door projects.  Keeping the pup "resting" has been a challenge.  Lots of CBC oil.

I can't believe how quiet my neighborhood is.  But then again, that is why I moved here.

Re: Happy 4th of July

Scipio brought a bottle of 16 year Lagavulin to our gathering on the 4th, Agave was also there as well and gave me another bottle of scotch to try (haven't opened it yet) as our whole gang of high school friends wives, and families.  First time all 7 of us have managed to get together in some years.  We usually get 5 a couple of times a year but we got all 7.

Chuut,

That sounds like a decent party!

What was the mystery Scotch?

Ballechin, never heard of it before.  It is a highland single malt.  Edradour distillery, supposed to be quite peaty.

I have to wonder if Agave chose that one because he knows I like peaty scots whisky or because the name sorta sounds like balls on the chin...... maybe both.

LOL I have never tried it, but I have heard of the distillery, as I always read it it as "Eriador" smile

I think it it pronounced Bally Kin. But having said that Agave was probably (if not certainly) think along the lines you suggest smile

Costs around $100 for 70cl depending on the year, I may have to try that. Let me know if it is any good smile
