Topic: $5 meal

To kick things off, I'm going to give you my current favorite $5 meal.  Please provide your favorite $5 meal.  It can be from anywhere other than your own kitchen.

My favorite $5 meal right now is the Parmesan Chicken sandwich meal from Zaxby's.

Garbage plate from Nick Tahoe's.  Big pile of home fries, big pile of mac salad, and two cheeseburgers, with extra helpings of hot sauce, relish, mustard, onions, and ketchup.

Have you had your derp today?

Five Guys ... Cheeseburger, regular order of fries and a Coke.  Can't eat there if you have a peanut allergy because they use peanut oil to cook the fries and they have free buckets of peanuts on the tables, but if you like a hamburger that's the place to go.  No food is cooked until it's ordered so your burger and fries are always hot and fresh.

My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Son, you've got a panty on your head.

I have to agree with you there.  The last few years Five Guys has exploded here in GA and I'm just annoyed there isn't one by me.  They have THE best burger.

Re: $5 meal

Wendy can't pick something for $5 since it's Hawaii and there's not really much at that price.

Me, I'd say either a small saimin from Ohana Cafe.  Or maybe an extra-large soft drink, a small fries, a McChicken burger and 2 McDoubles.

Re: $5 meal

Hard to find $5 meals around here.  I guess a medium chocolate Frosty at Wendy's, plus fries.  Yeah I know, not much protein, but there's milk in the Frosty.  Anyway this satisfies my need for things that are cold and chocolaty, and things that are salty and greasy.  Usually I just get the Frosty.

Double bacon cheeseburger at Jon's (local place, not a chain).  It takes about 10-15 minutes to get it after you order, but it's worth the wait and you know it's being cooked fresh, not just grabbed off a warmer.

I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.

About 4 spicy chicken tacos from Del Taco.  The nearest one that I know of is in Janesville, Wisconsin.  I had to stop there on the way back home from CT!!  Bought extras for left overs smile  Nummeh!

Re: $5 meal

Well the only one I know for sure which was under $5.00 was the Ponderossa, all you can eat for £3.99 breakfast. I had a 5 Guys as well but think that was more than $5.00...................

There is this hot dog stand out here called "Marks Hot dogs" I love the sauerkraut dog from them.  This is the menu http://www.urbanspoon.com/w/s/UH/LDrzduX5UumV3q.jpg?1247269324
